        1. Joseph,
Yes, our video team is finalizing the installation guide at the moment. Bumper removal is not necessary and installation can be completed very quickly. We are shooting to have this video up in a few days, sorry for the delay!

          Thanks

  1. Hello I have just purchased this product from you guys and its pritty simple in figuring it where everything goes, I just want to say that I liked my car when I bought it stock now after I put this intake system in it the car sounds way better, you can just hear that air and turbo spool really good especially under hard acceleration, I’m very happy with this product and thank you guys for coming out with it so soon, from hawaii aloha

    1. Thanks Shawn!
Great to hear you are enjoying the intake. We are working on some product specific tunes for the intake that will bump power quite significantly, keep an eye out for that.

      Thanks

    1. Alexis,

This particular testing video features our 6-speed equipped shop vehicle. We also have a CVT equipped model and we are working on tunes specific for this intake with the CVT vehicle this week. This intake will function with both transmission types.

Let me known if you have any additional questions!

      Thanks
      -John

      1. So just to confirm this will work with the cvt version? I really don’t want to be putting non cvt stuff on my car by accident. Thanks

        1. Hello,

Thank you for the comment and the inquiry! This intake fits perfectly with both manual and CVT models. We saw nice power gains with our intake on the stock tune and some additional power once tuned. Are you planning to use 91 or 93 octane fuel?

          Thanks
          -John

          1. Hi John,

Thanks for the quick response. I plan to run the intake with 93 and everything else stock. I’d like to get the tune, but that may have to wait till Christmas.

          2. James,

No problem at all! Great, sounds like you have everything in order then. With the CVT transmission on 93 octane fuel, we saw gains of around 11 whp with our intake installed. An additional 13 whp was added with our intake specific tune, bringing output to around 240 whp. I think you will be very happy with the drive-ability, power output, and intake sound amplification with our kit.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions!

            Thanks again!
            -John

    1. Hey James,

Thanks for the comment! The axle-back delete should not effect the performance/safety of operation with our cold-air intake. We did find that cat-back systems make a substantial impact on flow and will effect AFR’s, leaning them slightly. You should not have any issues!

Let us know if you have any additional questions!

      Thanks
      -John

  2. Im from Chile and we have here 93, 95 and 97 octane gasoline. I dont want to tune the wrx,I just want from you to confirm tha this Air intake damages the engine. I dont know if 91 or 93 octane from the US is the same octane as here.

    Regards

    1. Hello Felipe,

Thank you for the interest in our intake system for the 15′ WRX. Unfortunately we are not entirely familiar with fuel comparisons from South America. If you are able to confirm that the 93 octane fuel is equivalent to US 93 octane (it should be), then we can certainly confirm that our intake will function on the stock tune for you.

Sorry I could not be of more assistance for you!

      Thanks
      John
